Prader-Willi syndrome

Children with Prader-Willi syndrome are born with a dysfunctional hypothalamus – a part of the brain that controls growth, pubertal development, feelings of hunger, and other hormonal processes. Growth failure and an uncontrollable urge to eat continuously are some of the symptoms.
