2010 Sponsorships

During 2010, Novo Nordisk supported the following Patient Organisations:

Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating (DAFNE), (£4,770) – Provision of educational grant to support doctor training days and resources.

Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating (DAFNE), (£25,000) – Provision of educational grant to support the annual DAFNE Collaborative Meeting.

Diabetes UK – Provision of 70 x GlucaGen^® HypoKits^.

Turner Syndrome Support Society (TSSS) (£10,000) - Provision of a financial grant to help the society to meet their objectives of providing support to patients with Turner Syndrome.

Pituitary Foundation (£17,000) - Provision of a financial grant to help the society to meet their objectives of providing support to patients with growth disorders.

The Child Growth Foundation (£15,000) - Provision of a financial grant to help the society to meet their objectives of raising the awareness of growth disorders, as well as providing support to patients.

Bladder and Bowel Foundation (£395) - Provision of a financial grant to help the society to meet their objectives of providing support to patients with bladder and bowel conditions.

The Haemophilia Society, (£48,000) – Provision of a financial grant to help the society meet their objectives of providing support to patients with Haemophilia.

British Menopause Society, (£11,000) - Provision of a financial grant to help the society to meet their objectives of raising the awareness of the issues surrounding the menopause.

Menopause Matters, (£3,000) - Provision of a financial grant to help the society to meet their objectives of raising the awareness of the issues surrounding the menopause.

Women’s Health Forum, (£3,000) - Provision of a financial grant to help the society to meet their objectives of raising the awareness of women’s health issues.
